Halloween Festivities
Our staff and residents at Heritage Park had a fun-filled Halloween. We began our day with a visit from Puppy Patch Day Care so the little ones could Trick or Treat through the hallways and get treats from all our residents. We all gathered in the lobby so the children could sing some songs! Then everyone got costumes ready for our Annual Halloween party! We had music, treats, and prizes for Best Staff Costume and Best Resident Costume. Chaplain Jeff Nelms won for best costume due to his over the top rendition of a Georgia Bulldog. Katie C. won Best Resident Costume because she just the TOP Banana!! That was a Fun Day!
A Day at the Ballpark
Residents from Heritage Park enjoyed a Tampa Bay Rays baseball game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg on July 11th, 2018. Where else can you smile all day long ? These avid Rays fans and lifelong baseball fans got to see the home to beat the Detroit Tigers! Mary had never been to a big league game her whole life and always watches the Rays play. You can see the joy in her eyes as she looked at center field through the field level viewing area. Tom and his Son John had a blast heckling the opposing team and Nell, at a mere 105 years old, was able to see 2 home runs from the Rays. A round of hotdogs, drinks and peanuts made it a memorable outing for everyone!
